ABA built around the child—not the other way around.

Desert Bloom Behavior Support was created with a simple belief: children deserve support that recognizes who they are, builds on their strengths, and helps them develop meaningful skills for everyday life.

We believe effective ABA should feel individualized, collaborative, and relevant to the child and family—not like a one-size-fits-all program.

About Desert Bloom

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide compassionate, individualized behavior analytic services that help children build meaningful skills, increase independence, and participate more fully in everyday life.

We partner with families and the people who support each child to create practical, evidence-based treatment that respects the child as an individual and focuses on progress that matters beyond the therapy session.

Because progress isn't about changing who a child is. It's about giving them the skills and support to navigate their world with greater confidence and independence.

Meet the Founder

Sara Scott, M.S., BCBA, LBA-AZ

Founder & Clinical Director

I started Desert Bloom Behavior Support because I wanted to create an ABA practice that puts the individual first. Every child deserves to be seen for who they are—their strengths, preferences, needs, and the things that make them unique—not simply through the behaviors or skills we're working to change.

I also believe some of the most meaningful progress happens when the people in a child's life work together. Families, RBTs, teachers, BCBAs, and other members of a child's care team each see a different part of their world. Strong communication and collaboration between those people allows us to better understand the whole child, provide more consistent support, and help skills carry over into everyday life.

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst in Arizona, my experiences working with children across home, school, and community settings have shaped the kind of practice I wanted Desert Bloom to be: thoughtful, collaborative, individualized, and focused on progress that truly matters to the child and their family.

My goal is for families to feel heard and involved in their child's care, to understand the why behind treatment decisions, and to always feel comfortable asking questions or sharing what matters to them. Desert Bloom was created to provide high-quality clinical care without losing the personal connection that families deserve.

What You Can Expect From Us

Your child is an individual first.
We take the time to understand your child—their strengths, preferences, communication, needs, and what matters to them and your family.

Goals that matter beyond therapy.
We focus on skills that make everyday life more manageable, meaningful, and independent—not simply skills that look good on a data sheet.

A team that works together.
Collaboration is a priority. We work alongside caregivers, RBTs, educators, and other members of your child’s team so support can be consistent across the places they live, learn, and grow.

Care that grows with your child.
Needs change, progress happens, and treatment should change with it. We continually use data, observation, and input from the people who know your child best to guide treatment.
