Caregiver Training & Support

SUPPORT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

You know your child best. Caregiver training is designed to bring your knowledge of your child together with practical, evidence-based strategies that can make everyday situations a little easier.

We work alongside caregivers to better understand behavior, build confidence using supportive strategies, and help children practice new skills within their natural routines.

Our goal isn't to turn caregivers into therapists. It's to provide tools that feel realistic for your family and support progress beyond the therapy session.

Caregiver support may focus on:

Understanding behavior · Communication · Daily routines · Coping strategies · Independence · Generalizing new skills

Behavior Assessments & Support Plans

UNDERSTANDING BEHAVIOR

Behavior happens for a reason. When challenging behavior interferes with safety, learning, relationships, or participation in everyday life, understanding what may be contributing to that behavior is an important first step.

Through assessment, observation, data collection, and collaboration with the people who know your child best, we work to identify patterns and develop individualized, function-based recommendations and behavior support plans.

Understand

We look at patterns, environments, and the circumstances surrounding behavior to better understand what it may be communicating.

Plan

Assessment findings guide practical, individualized strategies designed around your child's needs and everyday environments.

Support

We help caregivers and other members of the child's team understand the plan and use strategies consistently across settings.
